Assisted Animal Therapy and Counseling

Pet therapy with Crystal Starting March 1st. Only 10 spots available

The objectives of pet therapy, also known as Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT), are manifold and focused on enhancing the psychological health of the individual. Typical objectives include improving socialization and communication, abating seclusion, solitude, and tedium, augmenting satisfaction and fondness, enhancing memory and recollection, and tackling grieving and loss. Moreover, pet therapy can help enhance self-esteem, self-worth, cognizance, cooperation, and problem-solving. It can also help ease general uneasiness, and abusive behavior and teach appropriate touch.

Since insurance does not cover pet therapy, it is considered an ancillary therapy, and therefore cash is the only accepted method of payment.

Each session is 40-50 minutes long depending on the individual and animal. The sessions are $149 each.

We only have ten spots left for sessions in June.
